We know that the experience of disconnection is real for many women in our state. We also know that the only real way to challenge this is through connectionacross communities, across cultures,Connect across ages. Women Lead is committed to bringing women of all ages and backgrounds together, to strengthen connection and remind us that we are not in this alone.

The Women Lead Network is a statewide program, empowering women to become engaged leaders and active participants in their communities and the civic process by creating connection. Individuals can connect both in person at quarterly meetings across the state or through a robust online community that connects women outside of these meetings.

Women Lead Network meetings are open to all. Beginning in early 2016 we will offer a variety of membership options that will provide benefits to the members and community. Stay tuned for more information.

The in person meetings are action-oriented, inter-generational and inclusive groups bring together individuals from different ages, backgrounds and experience. They will meet at least once per quarter to engage in facilitated discussion and use collaborative effort to establish and implement community action items.

In today’s digital world, we also know that virtual connection is another powerful way to bring people together. Our statewide network strives to create authentic and empowering connection through a robust online community. It inspires members to amplify their efforts, talents and voices to affect change. It creates a statewide conversation between individuals and empowers the collective to envision and create a better Oklahoma.
